I came across a POR that was added by a parent today. As our troop reviews permissions for advancement, I realized that these permissions to not extend to POR even though POR is necessary for advancement. Our intent is to limit the persons able to approve rank requirements. How do I limit persons able to add POR? Thoughts?
You can’t. Parents have non-revokable full control of their children. Anyone with full control can edit the Leadership positions in Scoutbook.
The POR rank requirements are not automatically marked complete based on the Leadership entries. This is because the requirement says be active. A Scout could hold a leadership position and not fulfill the duties and thus not complete the requirement.
