I am the advancement chair. I have a parent trying to print a blue card that is a partial from a mbu or summer camp. When they print it - if the requirements they have completed are not showing up if they haven’t been approved in scoutbook. If requirements haven’t been approved, then the card is showing blank for any of those requirements. Is this something that can be fixed? We typically don’t approve the mb until it has been completed. Is there a work around to get a partial blue card printed?
@BrendaKraft - the requirements have to be approved in order to print them. If done at summer camp or MBU then they should be approved.
A date in the req field on a printed blue card means that req has been approved. Not printing unapproved reqs is working as designed.
Complete but not approved means the Scout needs to work with an MBC to be tested and have the req approved. If the MBC does not use Scoutbook, a physical Blue Card, or file such as the Black Pug file from summer camp, should be provided to the unit to approve the reqs.
