Quick Entry, Scout Leadership error

I am scout master for Troop 10F (Pacific Skyline Council) I am trying to use the Scoutbook plus quick entry, Scout leadership page to update our youth leadership roles. When I hit Save Change after any change, I get the following error

“You cannot add the same position that you are expiring on the same day. Please wait 24 hours and add the position again.”

I have tried waiting 24 hours and still get the same error .

Please help!

just make sure a position you end does not have the same date as a started. So if you end a ASPL position on 7/1/26 - you cannot start a new ASPL position on 7/1/26. Start the new one with date 7/2/26.

And if it is the same position - why are you even ending it?

The positions do not have the same end and start date. The youth are changing positions after an election. There are no positions which are the same for a given youth. For example, I am adding Troop Guide to a youth who did not have a previous position and I am still getting the error.

@HilaryBeck give us clear examples - ex. scout 1342332 I am ending SPL date 7/1/26 and adding Guide date 7/1/26.

We only need one or 2 to see it.

@HilaryBeck are you ending anything for them? do they have another position?

only adding for them and I still get the error. I do need to end others but I want to get this error fixed first

yeah that makes no sense - you can try an incognito window but I do not think it will help. It works fine for me on scouts like that. What happens if you try to add from the Scout Profile, instead of quick entry?

I can do it one by one in each scoutbok profile without getting the error. I wanted to use the quick entry to make the process easier. Can someone report this bug and ask that it get fixed?

It is being looked at - it is hard as other users do not see this.
