# Recurring Calendar Event Bug For sub-units

Continuing the discussion from [Recurring Calendar event Bug](https://discussions.scouting.org/t/recurring-calendar-event-bug/511581):

I am still encountering this issue. This seems to be the most recent topic about this issue. When I create a recurring event, does not have a RSVP, and is just for an individual den, it adds it to the pack calendar instead of the actual den calendar.

If you are clicking the Duplicate in series button (or whatever it is called) that is a reported issue - watch the change log for updates,

the work around I found was not to use that specific Duplicate in Series - or if you use it make sure you check the calendar before you save - cause it defaults to the unit calendar
