Scout Still Not Appearing in Scoutbook+

@DonovanMcNeil You had helped me out a couple weeks ago with the MemberID listed below. For some reason they are still not showing in Scoutbook+ for us. Can you take another look?

Thanks!

@PeterDeRosa

First, click on the filter on your roster page then select Reset Filter even if it looks correct. That sometimes brings back “missing” scouts. If this does not work, try an incognito window to rule out a cache issue.

A potential issue is the Scout is registered in 2 councils and has set his my.scouting.org ID to the “other” council. His SB ID is set for the MID in this other council.

Before we make changes, we need to understand why he set his primary MID to the other council. Does he primary record advancement from the Crew in the other council?

I do see your troop as active on his Scoutbook account.

@edavignon

The Scout was set up by another counsel for a Philmont trip they will be taking next year. We had the same issue with another scout in our Troop and Donovan was able to fix this so we can see the scout in Scoutbook and are able to enter their rank advancement.

@PeterDeRosa I have switched the Scout’s Scoutbook account back to your council. I have also requested that a new Scoutbook account be created for him in the other council, so that he will show up on the other troop’s roster.

This is what just worked for me for two “missing” scouts. The filters didn’t seem to change at all based on what boxes were checked. Both of these scouts are dual-registered, which may be contributing to the issue in some circumstances.
