Scoutbook not linking with MBC approvals

Somehow I have multiple BSA member numbers due to different council affiliations when we have moved cities. I have received approval from Palmetto Council to be a MBC for a number of badges. However, I cannot see this in my profile nor can the Troop lead and the council is having trouble sorting out the issue to correctly link this info. Can someone contact me to help me with this issue so I can stop going in circles?

When you say the badges are not appearing in your profile, are you talking about your my.scouting profile? In your positions under My Dashboard at classic Scoutbook (scoutbook.scouting)? Your profile at SB+ (advancements.scouting)?

Do you show up in the MB Counselor list from classic Scoutbook when the unit scouters search for one of the merit badges you counsel?

What the symptoms are might suggest a different issue.

Depending on the process your council uses (uploading MBC files vs adding MBs to the my.scouting profile), there are different potential issues on their end.

There was a national issue with MBCs yesterday in the registration system. Look at my.scouting.org - My Profile - do you see the MBs you counsel there? If not talk to council

@DerekWilliams4 - this is not a scoutbook issue since they are not listed in my.scouting.org.. When i check my profile in my.scouting.org here is what I see

The registrar has to add the merit badges to your record.

Stephen and Donovan hit the nail on the head. If it’s not in my.scouting, then the council registrar hasn’t properly added the badges to your registration record. If the registrar doesn’t know how to do so, there’s a national help group for registrars that they can reach out to for assistance.

Once added to your registration, the badges will automatically flow out toe SB and SB+ in 1-2 days.
