Scoutbook Plus errors with marked awarded & activity report

Recently I have encountered two issues.

  1. I marked items awarded (I’m Scoutmaster) but Scoutbook Plus shows them as being marked awarded by my advancement chair.

  2. The Activity Log Report seems to have disappeared from my options of reports.

Any help I can get in correcting these issues would be appreciated.

@BillVoet - where are you seeing the items marked as awarded by the UAC ? The activity log report being missing is a known and reported issue. Watch the change log for when that is fixed.

@Stephen_Hornak - I go to the Roster page then select the Advancements tab. Select Awarded. On that page it shows who marked the rank, merit badge, etc awarded in the description column.

@BillVoet - the marked awarded date and person are unit internal data and have no effect on the scouts. The important date is the date completed. If it is really bothersome you could un-award those items and then re-award them.

Understand that it not that important who marked it awarded but we have had things get marked incorrectly in the past, and this was how we determined who to discuss the mix up with. I tried un-awarding and then re-awarding and it did the same thing.

@BillVoet we need examples - like Scout (Member # - no name) - Swimming merit badge say marked awarded by John.

What is the problem with fixing or putting back the Activity Log report? Why do we have to wait an entire update cycle (or longer) to fix an issue that should have been caught during beta/regression testing before being released? In most environments, problems caused by “updates” get priority over new development, or the whole update gets rolled back until problems are resolved.

@CraigPeck - I am a volunteer not on the development team. The report had been present and working and then went off of the list. If I need data on the scouts I either pull it by mid or go to their record and run the report from there. I actually do not use reports much if at all.

@BillVoet so are you saying Kathleen did not mark it Awarded? did you? just trying to get the data to turn it in

@DonovanMcNeil Correct. I was the one who marked it awarded, not Kathleen.
