Help again. I am in two councils. We live right on the line between NEGA and AAC. Back in December you were able to fix my two BSA IDs so that my NEGA one was the one that SB+ used. As of Thursday of this week, when I log into Scoutbook plus with my NEGA ID I cannot see T5109 calendar (I still see the calendars of the other 3 units I am part of). I can see the Roster when I am set on my Key 3 Delegate position in the upper right drop down box. I have no other positions in the troop in the drop down list - no leader or parent choices. I am not connected to my Scout who is in that Troop using the NEGA ID.
Scoutbook Legacy - Everything looks fine
My.Scouting.org - Everything looks fine.
Scoutbook Plus - Missing my child from my NEGA ID profile (I can see her in SB+ if I log in under my AAC ID but there is no troop access. It’s like she’s not connected anymore)
Please connect the Scout below to my NEGA ID. I do not want her connected to my AAC ID she is not in that council. Figure out why I cannot see the Troop calendar. I suspect these things are linked.
Scouts BSA ID: 14021046
My BSA ID: 12885081 (NEGA: I want this one to be the primary - default one)
Other council BSA ID: 137254768 (AAC)
Thanks…….
@MollyWood Please contact the council Registrar for NEGA and ask them to use their Registrar Tools to look up your child. In the “Relationships” tab / section, they should remove you as parent under your AAC member ID number (the one that ends in -768).
Thanks Jennifer. That seems to be fixed now. However, my NEGA Troop Committee Chair position seems to have become linked to my AAC ID (the one that ends in -768) in Scoutbook Plus only. In my.scouting.org committee chair is it attached to the one ending -081. But I have nothing more than Parent functionality in Scoutbook Plus for the Troop I am Committee Chair of in NEGA. I have to toggle to the one ending in -768 to be able to edit events in the calendar and other jobs my Committee chair role allows me to do. Can this be moved to -081?
@MollyWood Could you try logging in to Scoutbook (legacy) and go to:
My Account → My Connections
then “Clean Old Connections”.
I cleaned both BSA IDs. Zero Old Connections on either. Only 1 Old MBC Connection. I looked at Permissions Manager in Scoutbook plus both IDs have the same permissions. For the one ending -081 the upper right dropdown in SB+ has Key 3 Delgate and 3 addition roles. For the one ending -768 the same dropdown has Key 3 Delegate and 5 additional roles. But I cannot see anything different in Permission Manager. I confirmed both IDs have calendar editor. I confirmed again that Only the -768 ID can actually edit the calendar and RSVP for me. -081 can only observe the event, not interact with it (cannot edit or RSVP)
