Scoutmaster Permissions not working (bugged?)

Hi, member id :131144098 is a Scoutmaster and has the correct role. However they are unable to run reports, view/change permissions and more. Could someone review that ID and see if a fix is available.

I’m CChair for the Troop and while everything looks correct in Permissions Manager, many functions are unavailable for the ID, as if she wasn’t actually in the SM Role.

Thanks!

Gregory

@GregoryReade - that id matches what is on my.scouting.org ? And are they also a parent of a scout ? Or have some other role or registered position ? I ask that because they have to pick the correct dropdown in the upper right

@GregoryReade I think this is a watch them log in situation first. Make sure they are selecting the right profile in top right, and understand what they are doing. Everything looks fine for the account and T713G

Ok, I will review with the user and verify no additional IDs etc.

Yes a parent as well. If I look at Scoubook and her parent profile, it links to Plus and the member ID is still 131144098. Her only role is Scoutmaster in SB+. Is there another way I can see additional IDs?

@GregoryReade - she is most likely hitting sb+ as the parent view

Not easily as a unit leader. I used to accidentally encounter them in classic SB when I would see multiple instances of a scouter (one connected to scout, one as registered scouter). You might see something similar in SB+ if the scout’s parent relationship shows a different Member ID for the parent than that parent’s registered scouter account.

If you have access to the registrar tools, you should be able to see additional Member IDs in your council. I don’t know (since I’m just an ASM) whether a council registrar has the ability to see Member IDs outside of their own council for individuals also registered in their council.

Thank you all. She has figured it out now. On to the next challenge!
