# Sea Scouts Electives - Multiples

They already have 3 electives marked as approved. This one being earned multiple times would satisfy the elective section. However, there is no way to mark the entire section approved/completed. And, there is no way to mark that elective completed multiple times.

How does the Scout get this one marked as earned/completed?

I believe SS stopped that practice with their new implementation - I will see if I can get an answer

Thank you - if they stopped that practice- they need to update the language of the requirement. The requirement is earned as it is currently stated.

Here is the requirement for how they listed it in the 2026 implementation. Sea Scouts has not announced they are moving away from advanced diving courses only counting once. Increasing skills is seen throughout the other versions of Sea Scouts (Sailing, Kayaking/Canoeing). For Sea Scout Dive Ships - continuing to hone skills the same way that Kayakers and Sailors do is important.

I hope this was just something that was an oversight instead of scuba diving electives being cut down/removed.
