@KarenRodman - are you getting the toast box the your position or permissions do not allow you to perform this action or something similar. Being a committee member at its base has no permissions and UAC is a functional role that you should see in my.scouting.org if that was assigned to you.

Sorry, I didn’t get the response notification. Yes, I am the UAC. I don’t know what ā€œToast boxā€ is but I am getting a red box that says my position does not allow me to see this. I’m trying to get a snippet of it, but it goes away so quickly I can’t seem to catch it in time.

@KarenRodman - the toast box is the pop-up with read text with the error. It is known as a toast box because it pops up like toast in a toaster.

I’m sorry to follow-up, but outside of posting my ID# which I did above, what can I do to help resolve this? I have Scouts who need this information so they are waiting on me to give it to them.

@KarenRodman - the scouts should be going to the scoutmaster for mbc information as that is what the guide to advancement states

They definitely review with the scoutmaster first, but he has delegated the counselor information and blue card delivery to me. Delegation has always been necessary to keep the process moving and I’ve always had access in the past (for 3 years). My issue is the same as the original poster to the thread and many others who responded. It was recommended to post my ID to have this resolved, so I did… Is there something else, perhaps a message from my CC or COR to confirm?

Your Key 3 need to give you MBC Search permission via Permission Manager in Scoutbook Plus. 24 hours later, you should be able to connect MBCs to Scouts.

There is a known issue that developers are working on. Watch Watch Scoutbook - Scoutbook Plus Change Log - Scouting Forums for an announcement of a fix.

The key 3 can also download the mbc list from my.scouting.org

One of Troop Key3 checked my permissions (again) and I have full access, but still having issue to see MBC contacts. Our District Exec is looking into it now.

@JohannaPalmer - as Ed noted there is a known issue that is being looked at by the dev team.
