Sharing a youth profile with a leader in a different unit in Scoutbook Plus

Before advancements were migrated into Scoutbook Plus I was able to sign off on them in Scoutbook for a scout in a different unit (a girl troop 60 miles away-the closest girl troop to the city she lives in). At the time the leadership in her unit was able to assign me in that role in Scoutbook. I can still see her profile in Scoutbook, but when I click on the advancement links, I am taken into Scoutbook Plus and get the message “The youth was not found in the active unit”, and I can only see the roster of the boy troop I am registered to. Apparently, the link that I had to her profile did not migrate into Scoutbook Plus. Is there a way to re-share her profile in Scoutbook Plus so I can continue to sign off on advancements?

Per direction from Scouting America leadership, Scoutbook Plus will only allow leaders registered in the Scout’s unit to see and approve advancement. This is to comply with membership policies that require the Charter Org Rep to approve all unit leaders.

Your only option is to be registered in the Scout’s troop.

The one caveat to this is MBCs - if you are in an MBC Role and assigned to the Scout as an MBC for a MB - then it still works. Though all the functions are still in Legacy SB.
