Something changed and no parents can view den calendars anymore (can view Pack calendar)

Anyone else seen this and know how to fix it? Myself and other parents could view Pack/Den calendars for multiple years and then a few months ago we can no longer view the Den calendars. Scoutmasters say they don’t see any obvious settings causing the issues.

@RandallFlint so what happens when you go to calendar? in the filters is the Den Calendar turned on?

@RandallFlint - were the dens advanced. As in lion became tiger, tiger became wolf etc.

The filter in in the top

All of the dens disappeared. Used to be able to see ~10+ dens in the list. Only calendar available to view now is the Pack.

OK - so does the Cubmaster see the Den Calendars?

Yes, den leader can still see calendar. Parents just cannot. And note it worked for almost 2 years prior to this as you’d expect it to work. Is it calendar permissions the pack admin has to fix?

no - and your scout is in Den 6?

Think I am gonna have to send it in so someone can put eyes on it

Correct - thanks for looking into this. i appreciate it!

@RandallFlint there is always the default - have you tried an Incognito window?

yes, i switched over to a clean browser and same results. Not a cookie/cache issue.

Claude mentioned this. And the end of 2025/early 2026 was about when we lost access and would make sense that multiple people lost access to the Den calendars. Any idea how I can still do this? I don’t see any way to check or do this now.

Scoutbook Plus will begin warning parents/guardians who are not connected to their children in the membership database, that their connections must be validated by December 31, 2025, or their access will become limited. These relationships are the ones that control membership renewals and registrations. Instructions to validate the connection are provided in the pop-up window that parents will receive on the system.

Well you are setup right for BF - your leaders can go to Reports > Custom Roster > make a report that shows scouts RELATIONSHIPS to show parents setup correctly
