Still having SB Messaging issues with adults being double logged as Scouts w/o parents

Continuing the discussion from Did I get demoted to a Scout?:

I understand this is a known issue and that I’m supposed to be watching the change log for an announcement. Is there an ETA? Is there anything we can do to self-rescue?

I have six adults (parents & leaders) who are impacted by this and don’t receive Scoutbook messages from other adults when we send them, we assume because of this issue. (1) Eli____ Zy____ 135975688, (2) Le____ Cr____ 12971206, (3) Ba___ Lyb___ 12602573, (4) Sus__ San___ 136873566, (5) An___ We___ 136153117, and (6) Ja___ Bo_____135819644.

I think our only workaround is to remember to manually forward them Scoutbook messages outside of Scoutbook. We’re spinning up our program year, and I’m starting to worry about adults missing e-mails.

Is this likely to be working in the next week or two?

This is a known issue. Scouting America IT does not release timelines for fixes.

Watch [Scoutbook - Scoutbook Plus Change Log - Scouting Forums](Scoutbook Plus Change Log - Scouting Forums) for an announcement of a fix.

It’s been three weeks since we first found this. Is the impact understood? Six adults in one unit seems like a lot – is that the average? (i.e. are about 3% to 5% of all adult accounts nation-wide currently broken) Or does that amount seem like my unit is disproportionately impacted? If we are disproportionately impacted and at the National-level this isn’t that big a deal and won’t be fixed soon, is there anything I can ask our registrar to do at the Council-level to fix this one-off for us?

@JamesBolling try this again for us please

Looks fixed! Thank you!
