Our troop has position level email accounts that we use for communicating with parents/scouts. The intention is that these email accounts can transfer as the position moves to different leaders. I would like to know if its possible to create an admin or adult leader profile in scoutbook for these accounts without a scout attached? Put differently, is it possible to create a Scoutbook profile with troop admin access for a generic account that is not a registered Scouting Leader. The generic account wouldn’t have a BSA registration number. This would be helpful with succession planning.
No. All Leaders have to be a true Registered Leader in Scouting America. Also with the Move to Scoutbook+ it will tighten more, where all leaders listed will have to be registered in THAT unit.
