Unable to access scout's Scoutbook account

I’m trying to access my son’s account for the first time and I was never given a username for him. I have his member ID and his scoutmaster confirmed DOB and email on his account, but when I use these to recover his account the system tells me his account can not be located.

Any idea how I can recover his username?

@JayFee - I suspect he might not have a my.scouting.org account.

@JayFee when you say access - are you trying to log in as your scout? Or log in as a parent?

Thank you for assisting. As a scout. My wife and I have my.scouting accounts but we’ve never accessed one for my son. His scoutmaster can see an email attached, DOB, zip code, etc… but don’t seem to have an associated username to share.

When I try to recover his username the system can not match the email supposedly on file to either his member id or DOB.

Any ideas?

@JayFee there is no user name - follow the PDF that @Stephen_Hornak posted - that is pretty fool proof.

Sorry I’m at work and opened it but couldn’t follow it in the moment, but when I saw your question I figured I’d respond quickly. I’ll look at the pdf now.
