Unable to add parent to scout's account due to address formatting error

I just tried to add a parent, who is a registered leader, to his scout’s account in Scoutbook Plus, using the “Known Scouting Account ID” method”. After searching for and finding the parent, and selecting them as the scout’s father, I clicked save, and got this bizarre address formatting error. The thing is, the scout’s listed mother, also a registered leader, has the exact same address with identical characters. There aren’t any fishy characters from what I can see.

Father: 141722574
Mother: 133697800

@GwendyDarling

Does the hose number end with a letter such as 123a?

No.
The Address Line 1 is formatted: 123 Sesame St
The Address Line 2 is formatted: Unit #45
The City is formatted: Metropolis City
The Zip is formatted: 12345-6789

@GwendyDarling

What is the Scout’s Scouting America Member ID (no names)?

Is the # sign needed?

@jacobfetzer

An address accepted by Registrar Tools and my.scouting.org should be accepted by Scoutbook Plus.

@GwendyDarling

I have reported this to the developers.

FYI, removing the # sign from his unit # did the trick. It’s just a little surprising because the mom also has a # sign in her address, but she was already linked to the child, so I didn’t know why it wouldn’t allow the dad’s identical address. No matter, the workaround worked.

That’s good information, Gwendy. Thanks for helping diagnose the issue!
