Unable to get repeat events to work

I keep getting an error about start and end times when trying to set up a weekly meeting.

Also, since the option didn’t exist, I was going to manually delete every other week. It would be nice to have an option for an event to repeat every two weeks on the same weekday. Not just the 1st and 3rd weekdays, for example, as my rotating shift work does not follow that pattern.

In your recurring section, do you have both a Start and End date?

@edavignon- i had the same error. A start and end date were specified along with the repeat type. It is as if the fields for start and end are not being read.

Yes. The error seems to mention time, however. When you click repeat event the date moves under that heading, but the time remains as seen in the screenshot.

Same error here. Anyone have luck yet?

I am also getting the same error. Start dates and start times, along with end dates and end times, are all specified, but I keep getting the same annoying error and can’t create the recurring event.

This is a known error.

Watch Scoutbook - Scoutbook Plus Change Log - Scouting Forums for an announcement of a fix.

Just to add to the issue @edavignon , we edited a recurring event, and it crashed, and deleted ALL events in the series.

While the issue is being fixed, has anyone figured out a temporary workaround?

(Hopefully someone with info can reply before the system automatically locks it (which I’m NOT a fan of).

Separately, this issue was already reported in this bug post

Thanks in Advance,

Stew

Is there an ETA for this bug? Editing a series event will remove every evening, which is certainly core functionality.

Scouting America does not release information regarding the schedule of fixes. Watch the change log for an announcement.
