Issue Summary
I was unable to print the Scoutmaster Signature on Merit Badge Pocket Certificates when the “Include E‑Signature” option is selected. The “Include Date Earned” was selected and the field appears correctly, but the signature does not populate. This behavior is consistent across both Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.
Formatting Concerns
Historically, the Scout’s name and the merit badge name were centered on the printed pocket certificate. In the current generated output, both fields are left‑justified. Looks a little odd. While it is possible to manually adjust each text box using Adobe’s editing tools, this is not a practical solution when processing large quantities (e.g., 129 merit badges).
Requested Resolution
-
Restore proper functionality of the “Include E‑Signature” option so the Scoutmaster signature prints as expected.
-
Re‑establish centered alignment for the Scout’s name and merit badge name on the pocket certificate template.
Thank you, Jay Woolston
@JaphetWoolston - i just tested the card print from several po’s on firefox and the scoutmaster signature was on using the toggle for e-signature and date earned. The centering is a minor thing for me.
@Stephen_Hornak I was able to use DuckDuckGo and that populated the certificates with signatures. Didn’t think of this at the time. I had tried Chrome incognito and Edge InPrivate windows but that didn’t help. Nor did Shift F5.
DuckDuckGo opened up Internet Advancement in my District Merit Badge Program/Unit. This got me to try that with both Edge and Chrome and after shifting both browsers to my District Merit Badge Program/Unit and then back to my Troop Program/Unit, the signatures did populate on both Edge and Chrome!
So it works using this shifting of Program/Unit method. Not sure why this behavior happened or what the shift does.
Thanks for letting me know another browser worked which prompted me to try something else.
@JaphetWoolston - i suspect it is one of those cache/cookies thing
