Anyone care to share what their Scouts are doing for Earth Day? It’s is still a month off so time for Packs and Dens to plan a project or sign up in their community. Share here to help other units think of things to put into their programs, even if it will be for next year. Locally here one troop is planning to plant 1,000 trees as a conservation project and had their picture on the front page of the weekly community newspaper. Packs and troops may be able to get some good PR out of their project.
We’re participating in the Scouts Trash the Trash Messengers of Peace project the first Saturday of May. This will be our first time participating in this event.
