View name while approving rank requirement

Please “pin” the Scout’s name to the top of the page while scrolling rank requirements (or any requirements if this holds true for Merit Badges as well). We should always be able to confirm we are approving for the correct Scout before pushing save.

In the new system, the name of the scout disappears up off the top when scrolling down the rank requirement list. I always want to double check that I am approving the right thing for the right Scout. As Advancement Chair, I was approving multiple rank Boards of Review from last night’s troop meeting. If I cannot see the Scout’s name as I am approving a Board of Review, I cannot easily confirm that I am approving the correct Scout. I have to scroll all the way back to the top, finally the name reappears, then I have to scroll all the way back down to hit Save.

I assume you are referring to the To Approve page. Please confirm before I have this added to the backlog.

As for the Boards of Review, ideally these would be approved at the same time they are entered so you would not be seeing them on the To Approve list.

@edavignon- I think she means on the scout page then ranks, merit badges and awards. I seem to recall someone else asking for the same thing.

this was not on the to approve page. I was on the Scout’s advancement page, entering the rank requirement (completion date of the BOR) and marking awarded at the same time. I am less concerned about the marking awarded, and more concerned about being able to see the Scout’s name while I save the completion date of a requirement.

This is already in the backlog. We do not know if or when Scouting America IT will schedule it for development.
