I have initiated the den chief process below:
- In Pack Roster in Scoutbook Plus, I added individual in Find Your Den Chief.
- Submitted the request.
- The troop approved the position on their end.
I had to add a few Den Chiefs and experienced two different ways to add a Den Chief. I was able to see a Scout on my roster under “Unassigned” and assign them to the Den.
For other Scouts, I did not see them in my roster under “Unassigned”. However, I was able to locate the Scout in “Edit Den” under “Available Den Chiefs” and assigned them to the Den.
What is the correct way? I want to make sure they get the communications when we create events in Scoutbook.
Thanks
@LionelMilan IF the DC appears for the Pack (which is an issue in itself) - you add to a den with Edit Den.
So it’s ok to see them in Edit Den as Den Chiefs in Den and not see them in my SB Roster?
In Roster > Filters > make sure Den Chiefs is turned on
I have Den Chiefs turn on but I still see only 1/4 of my Den Chiefs but when I look at Edit Den. I see them accurately assigned. This is why I was confused and posed the original question.
When missing some people on the roster, the first thing I usually do is click “reset filters” even if the filters look correct.
Thanks. I tried “reset” filters" and I still do not see 3/4 of my Den Chiefs in my roster. Again, I see them in edit Den but not in my Roster view.
@LionelMilan what are the MIDs (member # - no names) of at least one of the DCs?
Here is a few: 140965087, 14446934, 14151059
@LionelMilan OK - I see a common thing for 2 of them - give it 12 hours and check Max again.
@DonovanMcNeil I checked again and still don’t see the den chiefs on my Roster but I do see in Edit Den.
Was worth a shot - it was reported - watch Change Log for any updates.
