Issue: Nova & Supernova Awards removed from Scoutbook ahead of schedule - can't copy or enter data while program is still active

I am creating a new thread with a title that better explains the issue of the Nova & Supernova Awards being retired ahead of schedule. This is to help others who have the same problem and offer a central spot for them to ask questions or find out if potential solutions will be proposed or implemented. I have expectations that Scouting America will make some sort of announcement or attempt to address this issue as a many of us were counting on the record keeping of Scoutbook being available through the official 6/1 date.

Please see the following posts for relevant information, links provided as the titles are not self descriptive:
The announcement that Nova & Supernova Awards will no longer be able to be supported / entered into Scoutbook on 6/1/2025. I can’t find the official BSA announcement for this, other than the Facebook Commissioners post: Redirecting...

The official Nova & Supernova FAQ page, which unfortunately does not have any updates after 2023, and does not mention the removal from Scoutbook. If you are reading this and have admin responsibility for the Scouting dot org website, please update this page as it is the clearing house of resources and information for all of us in the Nova program: Nova Awards FAQ | Scouting America

The change log that shows Nova & Supernova awards were removed on 5/29/2025, ahead of the scheduled 6/1/2025 date: May 29, 2025 Legacy Scoutbook Updates

Post on 5/30/2025 when the Buckeye Council could not enter Nova award records: Cant find or add awards

My post from 5/31/2025 when I logged in to copy off the records of the Scouts with Nova & Supernova awards underway, and to finish several of them for data entry and awarding / recognizing them for completion of their awards, only to find that all of these records are missing (except for the ones fully completed before 5/29/2025): Thread closed mid-reply - #4 by FitzFitzgerald

This is not a bug, this was a decision made by Scouting America. The only recourse is via your council, not the forums.

We are closing this and all related threads. Future discussion on this topic will be removed as Scouting America forums are for technical discussions only, not policy.
