As a Scoutmaster, I am running into a major workflow limitation in Scoutbook Plus when processing merit badges at scale.
I already had to go through the full manual process earlier this month for the same group of about 15 Scouts, each working on 4–6 merit badges, and now I am facing the same issue again with initial unit leader signatures. In addition, our linked boy troop has over 20 Scouts who require the same process.
There is currently no way to apply the Initial Unit Leader Signature in bulk. This requires opening each Scout individually and repeating the same steps for every merit badge entry.
Request:
Please add a bulk action that allows unit leaders to:
- Select multiple Scouts
- Select multiple merit badges
- Apply the Initial Unit Leader Signature in one action
This is a very common workflow for troops during merit badge seasons, campouts, and large advancement periods. The lack of a bulk option creates a significant and unnecessary administrative burden for volunteer leaders.
This capability already exists in other parts of Scoutbook Plus (such as bulk assignment tools), so extending it to unit leader approval would greatly improve efficiency and reduce repetitive data entry.
