OK, I know I’m being pedantic… but we strive to run youth-led troops.

In the Swimming Classification page, the tabs are “Youths”, “Leaders”, and “Parents”. In the language of scouting, use of the term “adult leader” is not recommended, and it refers instead to the terms “Scouter” and “adult volunteer”. See Language of Scouting | Scouting America

Suggest updating the “Leader” tab to the “Scouter” tab.

The Guide to Advancement has 13 instances of “adult leader”, 5 of “scouter” and 2 of adult volunteer". Adult leader is more common term when it comes to advancement.

True… but the tab doesn’t say “Adult Leaders”. It says “Leaders”. Adults can be leaders. Youth can be leaders.

In contrast:

  • The calendar event invitee list has “Youths” and “Adults” (in view mode)
  • The Roster filter for registrants has “Youths”, “Participants 18+” and “Adults”.
  • The RSVP report shows “Adults”
  • The messaging form has tabs “Selection via adults” and “Selection via Youth”

BTW: the same “Youth” and “Leader” tabs are used for OA Member Data and Health Record Dates.
