Ahhh! Well, thanks so much for letting me know the root of the issue! OK, if you can keep me in the loop if & when it is resolved I would appreciate that. I will hold off on trying to do our Event Calendar for the year until this is (hopefully) working again…it is just not worth us moving from a functioning calendar we already have on another platform until we have repeating events and “cloning” of some sort available. Thanks again!

Karen,
Check to see if you have the extension HandyLinks installed. If you do, disable it - open a new tab, and Feature Assistant should work. HandyLinks was a temporary addon that didn’t do much more than point to where Feature Assistant could be installed from the BSA servers.

Gary,

I apologize up front for not being too savvy

about Firefox & add-ons…I installed Firefox cleanly
just yesterday for the purpose of using this add-on for SB ( I
had used Firefox before but deleted it since then as Safari is
supported by everything I do now). I then downloaded the add-on
from the link in the forum. I don’t think I have any other
add-ons installed as I haven’t actively installed any but is
this something that may have tagged along with the Feature
Assistant download? I am not sure where to look to see if it is
there. The add-on manager in Firefox only shows Feature
Assistant which I have deleted & reinstalled a few times to
see if I could make it work. Just checked again and I don’t see
HandyLinks anywhere…

@KarenYoung2 Menu bar > Tools > Add-ons > Manage Extensions > if you see Handy Links look for 3 dots to right of it and click dots and disable

Gary updated Handlinks earlier today to automatically uninstall itself. You may have already received this update.

@KarenYoung2 - I would be willing to run a screen share to take a look at the issue if you wish. If that works you can email sjhjr@comcast.net around 6pm EST and we can take a look. I know that sometimes the extensions can be pesky with browsers. I succeeded in installing it in my restricted firefox at work and it was active after messing with its instance in the add in list.

Thanks Donovan…nope it’s not there. Any
other ideas?

I have confirmed that Handilinks is not
there…any other ideas as to why it is not working?

Karen, Do you see the little icon on your browser at the top right? It looks like a green handbook with the fleur-de-lis and a first aid cross image

And on the addons page looks like this?

Stephen,

My apologies, I was out and did not receive

your email until this morning as I do not have email on my
phone. I would love to try the screen share if there is another
time that works for you. I will be around today & tomorrow
but on the road taking our son back to college on Monday &
Tuesday. Just let me know if there is another time that works
for you and thanks again for the offer. If you prefer to
coordinate via text my cell # is 262-748-7662.

Karen

Yes, the Icon is there…for all
appearances it seems to be installed properly but I just don’t
have any of the features showing up when I open SB…I am
baffled…I thought maybe the pop-up blocker was interfering
in some way so I have unchecked that…

Gary, Well, no it doesn’t indicate enabled
as your screenshot does but if you look at my screenshot below,
it gives me a “Disable” button which led me to believe it was
enabled…I have disabled and reinstalled a few times and it
always looks the same.
