Due to a recent influx of new members in our troop, I’ve recently added photos for all of our scouts and adult leaders (in square cropped format). The youth photos are appearing correctly in both IA and SB, but the adults’ photos only show up in IA, even after a couple of days.
If the assumed purpose for having photos is to be able to identify who’s who if you’re new to the group, then it’s not enough for the adults’ photos to appear in IA, because there is no adult roster view in IA.
@GwendyDarling - the adults can be shown in scoutbook + by using the filter and check show adults.
Just as a shot in the dark, have you tried fake-editing (i.e. entering/changing a value then removing the change before saving) something in the adult profile besides the picture (e.g. preferred name) to see if that forces a push to Scoutbook of all of the profile data?

I figured it out. Kindof. If a troop admin (such as myself) updates an adult’s photo, it doesn’t push the changes to SB. However, if the adult themselves makes the change, then it pushes the update right away.
That is definitely not the behavior I would have expected, either. I wonder if there’s some sort of personal likeness release that occurs when the adult themselves uploads it that can’t occur when someone else does it.
@GwendyDarling How long did you wait to see if the pic updated in Scoutbook before reporting this? We are trying to figure out if it is a lag issue or some other bug.
