For calendar events in Scoutbook, can we do the following:

  1. In the Scouting mobile app, take attendance of youth and parents? Does it only show the people that RSVP of “Going”? A complaint I heard but haven’t verified, it was easier to manually take attendance than use the mobile app because not all of the names show up.

  2. Is there way a view on the website or mobile app to show pending “event invites” or items requiring action. A common problem I noticed is that parents don’t know which events are pending their response to RSVP to them. If it doesn’t already exist, there should be an inbox or pending action section so Parents/Youth know where to focus their attention when first logging to the website or app. Example: it is September and you have an event scheduled in January but the deadline to RSVP is October 1st. Parents need to see they need to action otherwise you have to flood them with emails.

  1. Only certain youth positions are able to take attendance with the mobile app. They should be able to see all of the youth, though. If not, let us know.

  2. There is no easy way to see that presently. That is a good idea.
