Very confused by this - new scouts should auto add to calendar events - there is no user action needed as long as whole unit is invited
Hi,I was the original reporter. I emailed council instead of coming here as that what the error said to do ![]()
I encountered this when trying to save a new calendar event. Not sure what it has to do with invitees, if anything. It’s unfortunately intermittent.
@KevinNickels so exactly when do you get this error? What unit?
I get this when trying to add an event to the Troop 361 calendar. Not every time. I added one event, it gave me this message. I cleared the cache, and it worked, then when I tried to add a second, I got it again. I cleared the cache a second time, but it didn’t work that time. Tried it that evening from a different PC and it worked.

I have also faced this issue intermittently. I was trying to navigate to calendar page and copy the .ics url for the calendar. However the page section which shows all the calendars and copy button for .ics takes for ever to load(loading icon is shown for ~30 sec. And after that the list of calenders show, but the copy icon is disabled. When i checked the API calls in browser(as I’m a developer), I noticed a 500 error on /events api. ( the request body is : {“fromDate”:“2026-01-01”,“showDLEvents”:true,“toDate”:“2027-01-21”,“unitId”:}). Is there any workaround to get the calendar ics url ? ( My role is committee member)
@JinsGeorge- i see that same thing, but this should have been a new topic in the bugs thread rather than new features.
Thanks @Stephen_Hornak, I overlooked. Created a new topic under bugs thread Cannot copy Calendar .ics url .
