"Edit series" recreates deleted events

The “edit series” feature will recreate events which were deleted from the calendar.

Repro steps:

1. create an event series, for example “weekly patrol meeting”
2. delete some events, for example those that occur over the holidays
3. use “edit series” to change any detail of event, for example title or time
4. notice that all deleted instances of the event have been recreated
