It is crazy since one can do quick entries of just completions in Scoutbook. Maintaining 2 systems is crazy for a resource restricted org like the BSA.
Your last sentence is so true. Poor planning of systems that do the same thing, just in different ways. A waste of money, resources, communication, etc. Dilution of efforts is not what we need.
