For those districts and councils that recharter at this time of the year, remember that just like for a unit, those charters not only have to be submitted (they don’t happen by themselves) but they have to be ’posted’ to take effect. The consequences of NOT getting your district and council recharters posted is that 60 days after the current charter expires the “grace” access period to My.Scouting and all its applications will expire. Additionally, of course, all position changes will be delayed unit the charter is posted too.
