When my new camp staff are trying to make sure they complete all of their required trainings to submit in Workbright for NCAP, they get very confused when the training is listed under a different wording. Is there a reason why it’s labeled under Safeguarding Youth Training rather than just Youth Protection Training when YPT is the wording that we use everywhere else?
This is actually a question to pose to your council, not one related to the software, for which support is provided here. That said, the old Youth Protection Training has been replaced by new Safeguarding Youth Training. @LaurelHemmer -that is the new title for the training
It was announced at the National Annual Meeting that Youth Protection Training is replaced by Safeguarding Youth Training. The systems have not yet caught up with the name change. The old YPT is no longer available. Everyone will take SYT going forward. The course completion code is Y01 for both YPT and SYT so all the systems will recognize either being completed.
