In SB+, I am trying to email a youth I am MBC for, who is not part of my troop. I cannot see any messaging option on my MBC dashboard. I know for the Troop with the migration to SB+, I had to approve who could send emails, so wondering if the council needs to approve the same for MBCs as it’s at their level? I have looked in the SB+ MBC manual but it doesn’t mention messaging. Thanks all!
@JoanneKnight - you could try the legacy scoutbook mbc message menu item.
Thank you - that function still works on SB so was able to email the Scout. I was trying to get out of the legacy habit! I’m sure lots of little things will be fixed in the coming months on SB+ and overall it will be an improvment I’m sure!
MBC Messaging is a story for SB+ that has hit some issues - Scouting America IT does not release schedules. Watch the Scoutbook - Scoutbook Plus Change Log - Scouting Forums for an announcement of the fix.
