Merging Two Scoutbook Accounts - NOT BSA Accounts

@ClintTarrant they can use email or their my.scouting.org credentials

Donovan,
I also have 2 BSA #'s for myself, that require merging, retaining all info if possible. It seems I cannot be moved to Chairman until this is resolved.

Thank you! Liane

@LianeReiss this is resolved in SB for you - use your my.scouting.org credentials to log in

Hi! I have 2 Adults in our Pack that have duplicate accounts. Are you able to merge them?

Adult 1:
BSA # - 13995274
User ID - 1681225
&
BSA # - 137359976
User ID - 11988412

Adult 2:
BSA # - 137329120
User ID - 11922011
&
BSA # - 13924924
User ID - 11959681

@TabithaKappel - that first one had 4 - they need to use my.scouting username/password - Bschwartz23

Both are fixed

@DonovanMcNeil, Thank you so much!!!

@DonovanMcNeil I believe i have one new one that Council just duplicated. Can you check for me and merge them if they are as we have been trying to get this person leader access for a while?

BSA #: 13976989 (was the original and would like to keep this one)
User ID: 12042559

Duplicated BSA # (I believe it’s duplicate): 13968203
User ID: 12050409

@TabithaKappel This is fixed - the bottom number is kept as that has her registration - the council needs to learn to look for names before they just make a new account

@DonovanMcNeil Thank you so much! She can continue using the same username/password she was using for the first account correct? Yes, I wrote down her initial BSA number and User ID at the top of the form, must’ve gotten missed.

yes - BUT it is better for her to use her Google Login

Thank you! I will let her know. I have a Scout where their last name is still incorrect and Council has told us twice it was fixed. Are they the ones that have to fix the names?

reply - post BSA # and we can look if it is different

@DonovanMcNeil Her BSA number is 136411562 and it should match her mom’s last name on BSA 136411563.

@TabithaKappel Does not look like it has been changed to me - you can look (if key 3) at my.scouting.org roster - maybe take a screenshot of that for council

@DonovanMcNeil perfect, thank you!! I will do that.

@DonovanMcNeil Isee you have been helping people get Scoutbook accounts merged. When we moved councils we were all given new BSA IDs, but I cannot access my boys old ones anymore because I cleared the old connections in Scoutbook without knowing that it would clear my boys’ connections to me too. Now, if I make my new ID the primary I am not connected to them at all.

My two BSA#s are:
12291594 (Redwood Empire Council - old)
13968322 (National Capitol Area - new)

My boys’ current numbers are:

  1. BSA# 13968321
  2. BSA# 13879743 (This scout lost all their advancements with the transfer (online).)

Thank you for any and all help.

@SamanthaSmith I merged your users - I set new MID as Primary - I will now look at lost advancements
