In Scoutbook Plus, requirement 4 for the NOA Aquatics Award was automatically marked as “completed” when a scout finished two of the optional merit badges (Canoeing and Kayaking). The issue is that the stated requirements also include having the scout “complete 25 hours of on-the-water time”. Is it assumed that they have hit this requirement after completing the two merit badges? My understanding is that this needs to be tracked by the scout (not assumed) and that the requirement is not actually completed after earning the two merit badges. Please clarify if this is a glitch or if I am misunderstanding the requirements. Thank you!
