With Nova and Supenova awards moving to Councils and still being endorsed by Scouting America of their use, could a ‘miscellaneous award box’ be included for Scouts’ records in Scoutbook if they earn the STEM awards or any other local Council award? That would solve the biggest question we get among the councils still supporting the Nova awards. Hope this is an easy request and we would appreciate it greatly. Thank you, Tom

There is no plan to support anything other than national awards in Scoutbook.

Not even a comment box for just notes on the Scout? Hopefully this is a simple solution to help have a one stop shop on the Scouts achievements. Not asking to have any specific details just a text box. Thanks much for the consideration.
The SUAC has been told by Scouting America IT that only national awards will be supported. The SUAC cannot keep going back to IT with requests they have already rejected. If you feel strongly about this, you will need to convince your Council professional staff that it is important and have them open a member care ticket requesting the enhancement.
