New Treasurer Cannot Access Adult Payment Log in Scout Book

Hello everyone. With the old “Troop Admin” function in Legacy being gone, I was instructed to manually connect my new treasurer to the scouts, by using the connections manager of the legacy roster. HOWEVER, the treasurer still cannot access the ADULT payment log accounts. I do not see any way for him to do this. Only users with the old “Troop Admin” designation still on their account can access the adults. Any thoughts on this?

For Legacy Troop Admin is still functional for things like Payment log - just nothing in SB+

Hi Donovan. Yes indeed. But our treasurer, who has all admin. permissions in SB+ was unable to access payment logs in SB legacy. You guys instructed me to go to the connections manager and manually connect him to the scouts so he could access the payment logs in SB legacy. This is all due to the Troop Admin function being gone for “new admins.” This workflow worked. HOWEVER, it did not allow the treasurer to access adult payment logs. And honestly, my guess is that this will never be the case?

@GarrettHay- how is the treasurer attempting to get to the adults for payment logs

Stephen - He logs on to SB Legacy, Clicks on Troop Roster, Clicks Roster again, and goes to the page that shows the adults on the left and the Scouts on the right. Scouts are clickable for access, and Adults are NOT. This is the way all Troop Admins access the profiles of all members.

@GarrettHay- so I would gather that the adult names are not in red like the scouts. I wonder if unit support in scoutbook plus would get past the issue.

This is correct. They are not in red. I will keep digging.

Did you make the new Treasurer the Treasurer in my.scouting.org? That should create the necessary admin role in legacy Scoutbook after 24 hours.
