Promoting Dens in Scoutbook Plus without waiting for National

I went ahead and promoted my Webelos Den to AOL in SB+ using the Edit Den > Change Grade Level on June 2, 2025. Then I read on a separate post that National promotes the den automatically in June - is that true? If that is the case, what happens to dens that I’ve manually promoted already on June? I’m old-school legacy SB and am used to controlling when then dens promote.

@ShirleyHou National just moves Grade Level up in Profiles

Thanks for the clarification. Therefore, the pack admin must still move the dens up manually from Bear > Webelos, Webelos > AOL, etc.

@ShirleyHou - yup. I tis still a manual process to move the dens up to the next rank level. The grade level bump up has been in place for a while even back in the old scoutnet/internet advancement days.

And one improvement in SB+ is if you move a den by mistake or too early, you can simply go back to Edit Den and change the level back to the correct one. The old Advance Den in SB could only go up so if a mistake was made it was difficult to go backwards.
