Welcome! This forum has a treasure trove of great info – Scouters helping Scouters! Just a heads up, though - all content, information, and opinions shared on this forum are those of the author, not the BSA.
SIDE THOUGHT: Considering there are a lot of posts regarding the problem people are having with Scoutbook Individual Advancement Report. Why not simply tell everyone you are moving everyone to use “Plus” now instead.
PLEASE keep communication there regarding your changes - if you did make such a statement, my apology if I missed it.
CONSTRUCTIVE SUGGESTION: the QR Code - please make it smaller or move it to the top. Considering its size and placement, it causes some scouts to go to a needless 2nd page. At any rate “its huuuge” (SNL Lil’ Elvis reference) - THANK YOU!
@JacksonKoontz - the problem with an announcement like that is that not everything has been migrated over to scoutbook-plus. There is a considerable amount of modules that have to still be migrated. There are however a number of reports that are in the new code base one of which is the Scouts BSA Individual Advancement Record replacing the decade old IAR.
As an additional clarification, the “Scouts BSA Individual Advancement Report” appears in the same report drop-down in Classic Scoutbook as the old IAR does/did. It’s just that, as Stephen noted, the actual new report is part of the new codebase at SB+. It also appears in the reports menu at SB+, but since the majority of troop-level functions (aside from calendar and logs) are still in Classic Scoutbook (and not yet fully functioning at SB+), directing troops to use SB+ would be premature at this time, particularly for units other than packs.
