Individual advancement reports are not generating. Can’t produce printable reports to give to youth. Please fix as this is something we generate monthly for the youth.
Thanks
There are numerous threads already running on this topic, including:
https://discussions.scouting.org/t/individual-advancement-report-not-working/478970/
https://discussions.scouting.org/t/individual-record-not-generating-from-reports-menu/479348/
and
https://discussions.scouting.org/t/individual-advancement-report-failure/478995/
There is an alternative report that provides the same information, as noted in those threads, for example here:
https://discussions.scouting.org/t/individual-advancement-report-not-working/478970/12
The report is both printable and can be generated in bulk .
If you specifically with to lobby for the old-style IAR over the never report, you will likely need to push that up the chain via the council professionals, since earlier threads have indicated that the newer reports are expected to supersede the older IAR.
ETA: Thanks for providing the instructions on where to find it, Stephen. :^)
@ThomasStanders - could you go to the unit page in scoutbook, then reports then look for and click on Scouts BSA Individual Advancement Record you can get the same info
This is great information and I am able to print the reports. But it is not as user friendly since it is generated from the Scouting.org website. (a terribly built site, but that’s another conversation). Please fix the Individual Advancement Record in Troop Reports from the Scoutbook site. It is much more visibly useful and cleaner for youth.
Thank you for the work around for the immediate time being.

As a clarification, I’m just a unit ASM who hangs out here and tries to help. The developers are generally not on here, and their development priorities are set by Scouting America national, not the volunteers/posts here. National only takes MemberCare requests from council professionals, which is why I pointed you in that direction.
Ha!
My bad Mr. Hamilton. Thank you for helping. I really appreciate it.
I’ve been using Scoutbook since it’s inception. You’d think I’d know it was volunteers answering the forums.
Thanks for your service,

@ThomasStanders - ideally the scouts should be responsible for tracking their advancement progress as it is their advancement not the adults.
That is ideal
Thank you for your assistance! I greatly appreciate it.
