I depend upon QuickBooks more than ScoutBook to keep track of the troop’s bank account and scout accounts, because I feel like I can’t count on ScoutBook’s numbers. The “Total Cash” does not match what we have in our checking account. It doesn’t even match the transactions I’ve input into ScoutBook. If I manually calculate all of the transactions in the Troop’s payment log, it adds up to what I have in checking, but doesn’t match with “Total Cash.” It’s truly useless.

Near the bottom is a calculator that will show how transactions work. And nobody says that you have to use the payment logs.
