I’ve found that when creating an event, everything performs well until I get to the description section. It’s so sluggish and slow that it makes me want to type it offline and paste in. It may be a 3 second delay before my text shows up. And for someone that does a lot of correction, that’s a lot of extra time needed to see a mistake and then fix it.
I’ve tried both Chrome and Edge and have the same experience and both are on the latest versions available.

@ChipGandy- i have not had that experience with the description section. But certainly copy paste is always an option.
Would you mind trying in an incognito window to see if you still have the lag issues?
As a Commissioner, I don’t have direct access to SB/SB+, but I have had several unit volunteers report this same problem. They are using a variety of web browsers on a variety of OS’s. I’ve asked them to come here and make more detailed problem reports, but I wanted to respond here so the thread stays open for them…

@ChipGandy what exact OS and browser are you using?
Windows 1124H2, 25H2 but I’ve tried on 10 as well.
Edge Version 141.0.3537.71 and Chrome Version 141.0.7390.107, both are the latest version, or within 1 update.
I’m experiencing the same problem using Safari Version 18.6 (20621.3.11.11.3)
Anyone that can get a good video of this - it would be appreciated to hand off - as it is impossible to replicate. If you do we can give you a direct private link to upload it to.
@AaronTreat- just a thought that safari is not a good option for any scouting.org sites
I have a 1 minute video i just captured for this. Thanks

I will send you a direct message > look at top right Avatar to find it > it will be a green envelope > it will be a private message channel with select members of the Scoutbook User Advisory Council (SUAC)
Confirming we are seeing it in our pack as well across computers, users, and browser types. It’s INCREDBILY slow. I’m 15 minutes into trying to post a single event and I have the second half of the year we’d like to add in.

I’m here to report the same issue. Cutting and pasting now but this feels like a bug that can and should be fixed. Thank you!

Came here to report the same issue! Multiple PCs have the same problem.
This is not a new issue either. Not sure why we can’t enter text without lag/loading?
Yeah - this is a fun one as it is hard to reproduce to see what the issue is. It is known and is trying to figure it out
