Unable to Invite Parents to Calendar Events (and Invitee Selection Glitches)

One of my den leaders (@DouglasAllen3) is trying to create calendar events for den meetings on the subunit calendar. Besides glitches in the select all fields (see below), he and I (CC) are unable to select some parents to add them to the meeting from the Add Individual button.

These are all parents of the Scouts who have more than one adult connected to them (e.g. for Scout MID 14267827, parent MID 142189833 can be added, but parent MID 14267826 cannot be added–via Select All or individually). The only exception for “two adult” Scouts are Scouts who have one parent with a parent role and one parent with a parent & leader role.

Select All glitches:

  • Main Select All Leaders: only selects one of the subunit’s leaders
  • Main Select All Parents: adds all unit leaders (not just those in this subunit) who have both a parent & leader role, but not those who only have a leader role; doesn’t add some with only parent role (seems to be missing one of two parents where a Scout has more than one adult connected)
  • Subunit Select All Leaders: only selects one of the subunit’s leaders
  • Subunit Select All Parents: omits parents who have both parent & leader role; doesn’t add some with only parent role (seems to be missing one of two parents where a Scout has more than one adult connected)

@RyanTashma so are the names Greyed out?

@RyanTashma - those parents who are missing or omitted can you click into their profiles from the scout profile page ?

@RyanTashma if it is 140389578 - that user is not a Den Leader - and not assigned to the AOL Den.

@DonovanMcNeil Names do not even appear for selection.

@Stephen_Hornak I can click through those omitted parents from the Scouts’ profile pages.

@DonovanMcNeil That’s the user (in a stunning twist of events, he’s that one volunteer in Scouting who wears multiple hats :joy:) . But he has calendar permissions for pack & den from Permissions Manager and is able to create events. If it was a permissions issue how is he able to create events at all?

Also, why do I have same problem as Key 3?

The Parent, Leader, Parent and Leader is a pain. Let me see

I added both of us as adults to the den, just to check.

The only thing it fixes for me is Subunit Select All Leaders.

I also noticed the Remove All Invitees button doesn’t work.
