Warning: Another User Using the Same Email

I recently received a warning that another user was using the same email. This is unexpected for me.

You had another Scoutbook account with the BSA Member ID from when you earned Eagle. I have merged the accounts and added your old BSA Member ID (MID) to your my.scouting.org account as a secondary MID.
