YPT not working - white screen

When I try to do the YPT I just get a white screen with a white box. I see this has been an issue in the past but none of the suggested solutions are working for me. I’ve used several computers, browsers, cleared history, etc.

  1. Hardware: Laptop
  2. Operating system Windows
  3. Browser Firefox, Chrome, Bing
  4. Browser cache has been cleared.

First guess is you are zoomed in? Have you tried to set the device to 100%?

I just tried that, no change. Still a white screen with a white box.

Ensure your pop up blocker is turned off

I was having the same issue - I solved it by using Microsoft Edge. Chrome was NOT working on any of my computers.

I would recommend trying using latest version of Microsoft Edge. The course has been checked and is running fine when tested with Edge or Chrome. Your security setting might be an issue and can try adding https://training.scouting.org/ as a trusted site in your browser.

  1. Open Chrome and click the three dots in the top right corner.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Scroll down and click Advanced.
  4. Under the “Privacy and security” section, click Site settings.
  5. Click Trusted sites.
  6. Click the Add button.
  7. Enter the URL of the site you want to trust and click Add.

I had tried edge too. It was the add blocker for me.
