Accessing Adult Roster in Scoutbook Plus

Is there a way to access the adult roster for a unit through Scoutbook Plus?

I’m a Key 3 Delegate and Troop Admin for my units, so I have proper access, and I can get to the adult roster through legacy Scoutbook, and when I go to an adult to edit their information (like to enter the dates for their med forms), it will take me to their record in Scoutbook Plus, but I was just wondering if there was a way to get to the roster to edit info directly through Scoutbook Plus or if it’s only available through the Legacy Scoutbook back door.

@VincentClose - you would use the filter as the default is youth view.

AH! I never knew there was a default filter applied. Found it. Thanks for the quick response!

It is pretty non-standard imho to default to a filter being applied vs applying a filter. So, it makes confusing. :frowning:

@Matt.Johnson - yeah… would tend to agree… but I can see the thought behind it as it is an advancement tool.

That is a great point. If I want to see a roster I should go to my.scouting.

I am also having difficulty adding two registered adults as den leaders. It give a message of basically “No record found that satisfies the search criteria.” I have names, emails and ID numbers on request. Thanks for any help. -Cubmaster Chris

@ChristopherMcclellan - what are they listed as in my.scouting.org for your unit ?

@ChristopherMcclellan

When were these adults registered as Den Leaders? If they are appearing on your roster at my.scouting.org, post their Scouting America Member IDs (no names) and we will investigate. If they are not on the my.scouting.org roster, they are not registered in your unit. They will appear on your Scoutbook Plus roster 24 hours after being registered and appearing on your my.scouting.org roster.

One is listed as a ‘den leader’ on the roster, but not in Scoutbook. She will need access in Scoutbook at some point. The other is listed as a ‘committee member’. So they are both registered adults, I just can’t find them in the Scoutbook system.

I don’t believe they actually registered as den leaders, I just had them register and then I planned on adding them as den leaders after they were in the system. It has been over the 24hr period, but I still cannot find them in Scoutbook even though they are listed as registered adults on the roster in my.scouting. Just not sure how to transfer them as den leaders into Scoutbook so that they can access their dens.

@ChristopherMcclellan

If these are newly registered leaders their criminal background checks may not have come back yet. If you post their Scouting America member IDs (no names) we can investigate.

They did both pass, and I have Scout ID#s if you’d like them. I got the email from BSA saying that they had cleared and they gave me their numbers. How would you like to proceed from here? I know you don’t like to share too much publicly on here.

Post Member IDs that show for Key 3 in my.scouting.org Roster that are not in Scoutbook Roster (no names) - and we can look at them
