Accessing secure websites

Many browsers interpret “my.scouting.org” as the non-secure URL “http://my.scouiting.org/” which should redirect to “https://my.scouting.org/”.

I prefer to use the secure URLs to eliminate the need for URL conversion:

• https://my.scouting.org/
• https://www.scouting.org/
• https://www.scoutbook.com/mobile/

The BSA Scouting website has some short URLs that redirect to longer URLs. For example:

• https://www.scouting.org/jte/

should redirect to:

• https://www.scouting.org/awards/journey-to-excellence/
