It would be great if there was a way where scouts can request for a meting within scoutbook with a merit badge councilor. This way a appointment can be set up and a reminder can be sent to the scout and their parents. This would relly help alot to reduce possible no-shows.
Iām old fashioned. I like that Scouts need to contact the MBC directly via phone or email.

Agreed. Aside from the obvious technical and program issues, Iām not about to accept a meeting invitation from some random Scout without discussing things with them and their parent first.
I would have to agree with Matt ans Steve on this one. Without knowing another adult (preferably parent and unit leader) is a part of the contact I could not honestly get involved in that conversation.
