Bug Fixes

  • Bulk (Quick) Entry for Awards
    • An issue that caused Bulk Entry to show an award was completed instead of approved has been fixed.
    • An issue that caused Bulk Entry to show the wrong version of the award for some Scouts has been fixed.
  • Council Admin
    • An issue that prevented Council Admins from removing an assigned Merit Badge Counselor from a youth’s profile has been fixed. Previously Council Admins could assign a Merit Badge Counselor but not remove them.
  • National Outdoor Achievement Award - Camping
    • An issue that would not let Requirement 3 complete unless Pioneering Merit Badge was complete has been fixed. Requirement 3 will autocomplete if two of the three Merit Badges listed are complete.
      Note: You may have to edit one option under Requirement 3 if both 3a and 3b are already complete.
  • Ranks
    • An issue that could allow Eagle, Quartermaster and Summit Ranks to be approved via Scoutbook Plus has been fixed. These ranks can only be approved by Council staff via other tools.

New Features

  • Blue Cards
    • Leaders now have the option of having the initial Blue Card signature reflect the leader who set the date or the unit leader (Scoutmaster, Crew Advisor, or Skipper).

  • Merit Badges
    • Merit Badge Bulk (Quick) Entry now sorts the Scout by last name.
  • Roster
    • A new limited view of the roster is now shown for leaders that have only base permissions. This includes Committee Members, Unit Scouter Reserve and several others. This limited version of the roster does not permit clicking on members to get more information. If you have a role that requires you to do more in Scoutbook, a Key 3 member can use Permissions Manger to give you additional permissions.
